Nigeria’ll remain land of beautiful possibilities for those who bravely hope – Osinbajo
Amidst the calls for secession, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has expressed optimism that Nigeria will remain a land of beautiful possibilities for those who are brave enough to hope.
Although agitations in the south have been affected by the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, as well as Sunday Igboho, the Yoruba Nation spearhead who is under detention in Benin Republic, the country unity remains threaten by the spate of insecurity.
Osinbajo, in a statement on Friday, as the country marks her 61st Independence Day anniversary, said he believes that Nigeria will remain home to those who bravely hope.
“Today, I had the honour of joining President Muhammadu Buhari, members of cabinet and fellow citizens, at the 61st Independence Anniversary ceremony in Abuja.
“We celebrate because everyday presents a cycle of opportunity to better both the wins and lessons of every yesterday; and to keep grabbing it, we must.
“Our nation will remain the land of beautiful possibilities as long as it is the home of those who bravely hope. Happy Independence day Nigeria,” he wrote on Instagram.
