SAO oil, a petrol station in Ibadan which occupies a strategic position on the Arisekola Also Way, Challenge entrance into the ancient city of Ibadan was gutted by fire this afternoon.

Reports have it that the fire began at 3 pm on Tuesday when a tanker parked within the premises of the petrol station exploded, causing parts of the station to be engulfed.

Residents of the area say they have reached out to the fire service but there is no presence of them until two hours later, wth the help of Lagos fire service personnel and officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, the fire was quenched.
