[JUST IN] VIDEO: Armed robbers attack bullion van in Ibadan
Armed robbers unleashed mayhem at the Idi-Ape area of Ibadan, Oyo State capital, on Thursday in an attempt to rob a bullion van.
Traffic was at a standstill while other vehicles were abandoned by their owners for safety.
As seen in a video uploaded by Tribune on Instagram, the bullion van was ridden with bullets’ holes after the robbers left the scene.
As of the time of filing this report, it is unknown if the robbers carted away any money during the attack.
There has been no report of casualties as well and there is no information on the whereabouts of the driver and possible security escorts in the van.
Also, there has been no official statement from the police or the yet-to-be-identified bank that owns the bullion van,
