Chief Rotimi Williams’ son, Ladi, dies of COVID-19
Oladipupo Williams, the first son of prominent Nigerian lawyer, Chief Frederick Rotimi Alade Williams, SAN, has passed away due to COVID-19.
The legal luminary and senior advocate of Nigeria was 74 years of age.
WuzupNigeria gathered that the deceased who is fondly called Ladi passed away despite receiving a double dose of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine.
According to his son, Kunle, Ladi passed away around 3 am at St Nicholas isolation hospital.
“My father passed away this morning from COVID despite being double vaccinated with Oxford AstraZeneca,” Kunle said.
Ladi was called to the Nigerian bar about 48 years ago and became a senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in 1995.
His father, Fredrick who died on 26th March 2005 was the first Nigerian lawyer to become a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
Ladi was the principal partner at Chief Ladi Rotimi-Williams Chambers (CLRWC), a Nigerian law firm based in Lagos.
