New Films: Kunle Afolayan needs your help…
Nigerian actor, film producer and director, Kunle Afolayan, is scouting for antiques items for some of his coming projects.
The award-winning producer took to social media to appeal to fans and the general public who still have antiques in their homes to donate for his film production.
Afolayan pledged to acknowledge anyone who gives out any object that represents a previous era especially the 70s or 80s.
“We are about to start another journey and we will be working on films that are set back in time. We have one that is set in the 70s century and another in the early 80s.”
Appealing to Nigerians for old costumes including electronics, clothes, furniture, cars, the ‘Citation’ director promised to credit all donors.
“If you have some of our grandma or grandpa caps, bags, clock, glasses, etc stored in the village, kindly donate it to us to shoot the films. We will surely give credit for doing so.”
The filmmaker’s latest flick, ‘Citation,’ won the Best Movie Category and Best Actress – African Collaboration (for Temi Otedola) at the just concluded 2020 Ghana Movie Awards.
