Nasarawa: NCDC announce driver positive of COVID-19
The Nasarawa state government has announced an additional case of COVID-19 pandemic in the state.
Governor Abdullahi Sule disclosed this while briefing journalists on the update on COVID-19 in the state during expanded security meeting in Government House, Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital on Tuesday.
He explained that the new case is a driver for the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control who transports samples of persons believed to have been effected with the dreadful COVID-19 pandemic in the state.
According to the governor, the affected driver who leaves in Ado village of Karu Local Government Area of the state had been relocated to COVID-19 Isolation Centre at the Federal Medical Centre, Keffi for treatment.
The Punch reports that the state government has so far confirmed no fewer than 12 cases of COVID-19 in the State with one death and no discharge so far.
