Mourinho speaks after Tottenham beat Man United 6-1

Tottenham Hotspurs manager, Jose Mourinho has said that Manchester United can’t be destroyed by the 6-1 loss to his side on Sunday.

Mourinho who was sacked and replaced by Solskjaer in December 2018 said that his successor didn’t meet a bad squad.

However, the Portuguese believes that Solskjaer’s squad will improve more if Edinson Cavani can be signed.

He told a Zoom press conference after the English Premier League game at Old Trafford:

“It is not as if he arrived here and met a bad squad. And the team is improving.

“They bought very good players.

“If it is true that Cavani is coming, Cavani is one of the top strikers in the world.

“And Manchester United is Manchester United. It is not this defeat that is going to destroy them.”
