Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, has indeed proven to be man of the people, no wonder why his people have undying love for him.

Governor Fayose on Thursday, took his birthday celebration to the streets of Ado-Ekiti, the state capital to share cake and the sum of two hundred naira each to the residents gathered at the celebration.

Fayose who turned 56 on Tuesday (November 15) explanined that the gesture is a show of love to his people, noting that he can’t sit in the government house and enjoy the comfort of the office without remembering the people.

The Governor who revealed that he had received a lot of gifts comprising cakes, yam tubers, cows and bags of rice on his birthday, said he can’t finish it all by himself, therefore, he decided to go back to the street and give it back to the people that put him in the government house.

Recall that Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson also came to Ado-Ekiti to facilitate with Fayose.
