Kolade Johnson: He only responds to dumb tweets, Ruggedman says after Yomi Shogunle blocked him on Twitter
Nigerian rapper Ruggedman said Head of the Public Complaint Rapid Response Unit of the Nigeria Police Force, Abayomi Shogunle, blocked him on Twitter over an inquiry into the death of Kolade Johnson.
Johnson was killed by men of the Special Anti-Cultism Squad (SACS) of the Lagos police command on Sunday.
Ruggedman took to his Twitter page on Monday to reveal that the police officer blocked him over his inquiry.
Ruggedman condemned the controversial police officer for turning deaf ears to the plight of the masses and said he is always quick to respond to frivolities on the social media.
He wrote:
“Look who just blocked me because I said I am waiting on his tweet about an innocent man killed by a SARS officer. What a shame. If it’s a dumb tweet or act he will be fast to comment.
“We bring you a serious case and you keep mute and block people. What a disgrace to @PoliceNG.”
Shogunle is famous on Twitter for his controversial opinion on issues related to public complaints against police officers, which has led to several social media attacks against him by Nigerians in the past.
