Justin Bieber’s #Justice sends Twitter buzzing
Canadian singer-songwriter, Justin Bieber, has sent Twitter users into frenzy with his newly released album ‘Justice’.
The 27-year-old last year had documented his newfound inner peace (achieved primarily through his marriage to Hailey Bieber) on his previous album ‘Changes’, his first in five years.
Changes, as the name implies, turned Bieber’ from TMZ-plastered problem child to redeemed stadium headliner.
Billboard described ‘Justice’ as the sound of Bieber’s personal triumph gaining depth and detail, which is why it’s ultimately more effective.
The 16-track album which dropped today includes songs like Ghost, Peaches, Die For You and an MLK Interlude as well as a track is titled “Die For You,” featuring Dominic Fike, a love song with a flair of the ‘80s.
Nigeria’s Grammy Award winner, Burna Boy, also featured on the album with his trademark vibes on track 14 – ‘Loved By You’.
Billboard further posits that Bieber has more than proven his credentials as a reliable hit-maker, gaining more artistic clarity on Justice he tries to express a complex emotional state over the course of an album instead of jamming it into three minutes.
Within hours of the release of the new album ‘Justice’ fans have taken this gist to the top of Twitter’s trending topics with the #Justice chatting number one with 247K Tweets, alongside ‘Justin Bieber’ with 177K Tweets.
One user, @wastedghosts said he is proud of the diversity and versatility Bieber infused in “Justice’ which he decried as incredible.
He said. “I just finished listening to the whole album and I’m insanely proud of Justin Bieber. The whole album is so versatile and diverse. It spreads such a positive message and uplifts positive energy. The features were incredible. Justin Bieber never misses. STREAM #JUSTICE OUT NOW!!”
Another user, @sinsofbieber wrote, “I got 99 problems and Justin Bieber’s new album #justice just solved all of them.”
@kidrauhlsrhyme shared her “best description of justice” which read, “whole album is a balanced mix with good features and dabbles into more indie/ alternative beats at points without being forced. Very flowy. Perf stoney times with noise-cancelling headphones it makes you feel a bit like you’re floating or like that feeling when you’ve been swimming at the beach all day and get home and still feel like you’re swaying in the water.”
