Insecurity: Our leaders are ‘wicked, irresponsible’, says Mr Macaroni
Nigerian comedian, Debo Adebayo aka Mr Macaroni, has slammed the government for the level of insecurity in the country.
The social media sensation who has previously warned of kidnappings on major roads of the country following the killings of farm workers at a rice plantation in Borno State by Boko Haram insurgents vented again on his verified Twitter account on Friday.
He labelled the country’s leader’s as “wicked and irresponsible” adding that the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) is unable to “perform his duties.”
Macaroni also had a word for the ministers and legislators as he tore apart the government for their lack of action despite the increase of insecurity in the country.
According to him, the legislature is “totally gutless and spineless” having “sold their power to put the Executive in check.”
“Killings upon killings every day in the country!! The level of insecurity is at the highest!! It is worse because we have wicked and irresponsible Leaders that do not care for the lives of Citizens. For every security incident, Nigerians have to BEG the President to take Action!!
“The President cannot perform his duties! Those around him are even worse! They are reprehensible!! The ministers and other government workers take turns in their sycophancy to deceive Nigerians while they do nothing about the deplorable state of the Country.
“What of the Legislature?? Totally gutless and spineless!! They are either complicit or they are in an abusive relationship with the Executive and unwilling to get out of it!! They do not represent the people!! They have sold their power to put the Executive in check!!”
