Harry Kane has won the Premier League Player of the Month award to equal the record held by Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero.
Kane clinched the March award for a record-equalling seventh time after the Tottenham Hotspur striker also became the competition’s all-time leading away goalscorer.
The Englishman broke Wayne Rooney’s record of 94 goals with his strike in a 2-0 victory at Brighton & Hove Albion.
Kane had a league-leading six-goal involvement during March as Spurs boosted their top-four bid with three wins in four matches.
He kicked off the month with two sublime efforts as Spurs triumphed 5-0 against Everton and followed that up with another goal in a narrow 3-2 defeat at Manchester United.
After the record-breaking trip to Brighton, the 28-year-old wrapped up March with two assists for Son Heung-min as Spurs leapfrogged West Ham United into the fifth spot with a 3-1 win over the Hammers.
Kane topped an eight-man shortlist that also featured Matty Cash, Trevoh Chalobah, Kai Havertz, Dejan Kulusevski, Andrew Robertson, Bukayo Saka and Ivan Toney.
