Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, declares presidential ambition
Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, has stirred talk on social media after hinting of the possibility of him running for president.
Sarkodie, in a post on social media on Thursday, July 23, 2020, shared photos of himself dressed in a black kaftan-like shirt over a pair of striped material trousers.
Wearing a pair of black boots to match, Sarkodie is seen sitting comfortably and making a point.
In his post he said:
“Presidential candidate 2024 Anaa mo se?” which translates to “Presidential Candidate 2020 or what do you say?“
Sarkodie’s post has stirred many reactions on social media. While it looks like a fun post, many of the rapper’s fans have already started rooting for him.
As an artist who has a massive fan base within and outside Ghana, he might just witness a massive show off love but what is not certain is his ability to clinch the seat.
Sarkodie has become a household name over the years and with his influence through music many could possibly vote for him as they have started pledging already on social media.
