Rich kid and newbie actress, Temi Otedola and popular Nigerian actor/producer, Kunle Afolayan made the headlines at the 2020 edition of the Ghana Movie Awards.

Otedola who made her acting debut Kunle Afolayan’s Netflix movie ‘Citation’ bagged the Best Actress (African Collaboration) award for her role in the movie.

Meanwhile, producer, Afolayan who gave Otedola her first role has two things to celebrate after the mover Citation won the Best Movie (African Collaboration) at the event.

Reacting to the award on her verified Twitter account, Otedola tweeted: “I just heard I won the Ghana Movie Award in the category of Best Actress (African Collaboration) for my role in Citation! So, grateful! Thank you for this honour.”

She also congratulated Afolyan for the win in a tweet posted to all her 2.2million followers.

“Also!! CONGRATULATIONS @kunleafolayan who won for Best Movie (African Collaboration) Bottle with popping cork So happy for the entire Citation Family,” she tweeted.
