Fireboy drops first single of 2022 after Olamide’s ‘threat’
After several weeks of anticipation and speculations, singer Fireboy has finally released his first single for the year 2022.
This comes one month after rapper Olamide’s ‘threat’ to leak his third album if he does not drop a song.
WuzupNigeria had reported that the YBNL boss had on February 10 jokingly threatened to leaking his album if the singer does not choose a date for the release of his album or drop his new single.
According to the rapper, he had grown tired of listening to the tracks from the album produced in October last year all by himself and he wants the world to listen to it as well.
He said, “I’ve had Fireboy’s 3rd album with me since October 2021 and I’m tired of listening to it alone. if you have his number, kindly call him n let him know I’m gonna leak it
On Thursday, one month after, the ‘Peru’ star announced the release of his new song ‘Playboy’ on Twitter.
“My first single of the year ‘playboy’ out now let’s go,” he said.
