A tanker explosion has led to a fire incident at the popular Olarem petrol station, in Ibadan, Oyo State on Friday.

The tanker exploded in the early hours of Friday at the fuel station located in the Basorun area, of the state, according to reports.

Although WuzupNigeria could not confirm as of the time of filing this report if anyone was caught in the explosion, men of the Oyo State Fire Service have arrived at the scene to combat the fire.

Recall that there was a similar incident on Tuesday at the SAO fuel station located at Falana in the Challenge area of Ibadan.

A tanker parked within the premises of the petrol station was said to have exploded in the afternoon.

Some parts of the SAO fuel station were also burnt.
