‘Fashola, Audu Ogbeh now hang out with Lai Mohammed’
A Nigerian man has suggested that recent comments by the Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh and his counterpart for Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola (SAN) may have been inspired by their rapport with the Information Minister, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
Mohammed seems to have written his name in the bad books of Nigerians over allegation that he is always economical with the truth.
Ogbeh and Fashola became trending topics on social media in the last 24 hours over their comments on Wednesday.
Ogbeh while defending his ministry’s 2019 budget before the Senate committee on agriculture had claimed that Nigerians now import pizza from London through the British Airways airlines, calling for a check in the act.
Fashola on his own part, while speaking on Sunrise Daily programme of Channels Television on Wednesday, said some cities in Nigeria now enjoy almost 24 hours power supply.
Their comments evoked social media reactions which made the ministers trending topics on Twitter as Nigerians jeered at them.
In one of the reactions, a Twitter user with the handle @KingsGerald1 wrote:
“It seems Raji Fashola and Audu Ogbeh are hanging around Lai Mohammed too much these days.”
He may just be implying that the two ministers are now becoming economical with truths like their colleague in the Information ministry who has been allegedly tagged as a liar by Nigerians.
