Faith in Nigeria Police restored as officer returns citizen’s lost phone
A Nigerian journalist, Femi Onasanya, has heaped praises on a police officer identified as Ogundele Adewale, for going out of his way to help him recover his lost android phone.
This is coming at a time when the Nigeria Police Force has been suffering bad press with citizens calling out to end Police brutality.
Police officer, Ogundele Adewale’s act of kindness is a beacon of hope that there are still some good ones among us.
In a post shared on Twitter, Femi revealed that he lost his android phone in Ogun state and gave up hope of recovering it until a police officer Ogundele Adewale found, kept and made sure to return his phone to him in good condition without asking or accepting anything in return.
Onasanya revealed that the respectable police officer refused to collect any cash reward for his good service and took pride in the fact that he was able to help out a citizen at such a moment.
Many social media users are now circulating the photo of the brilliant officer and showering him with praises for being an exceptional officer especially at a time when Nigerians are losing hope in the force.
