Enugu state youth in the Diaspora have passed a vote of confidence in Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for the inclusiveness of the youth in the leadership of the state.

Mr. Ifesi Nwodo, a legal practitioner, who is the president of the youth association, made this known during the association’s inauguration on Friday in Abuja.

He described the governor as a peaceful leader and people-friendly, adding that his inclusiveness of the youth in his administration had given them a sense of belonging.

Nwodo also lauded the governor for appointing one of the youth members, Mr. Oziokoja Ozioko, as his Technical Assistant.

National Secretary of the youth association, Akam Ike, described Ozioko as an ebullient young leader, who has served in different organizations.

According to Ike, since Ozioko was appointed as the technical assistant to the governor, he has made so many great impacts on the people of the state by working assiduously to see that Enugu state is standard and well known by the people.

He said that the technical assistant had supervised so many projects in the state worthy of reckoning with and urged him to keep the flag flying.

The Igwe-Elect in Ugwu/Agbo Edem-Ani Community, Chief Jude Eze, also described Ugwuanyi as the most peaceful and performing governor in the South-East.

The Newsmen, reports that the highlight of the event was the conferment of an award of honor on Ozioko.

Ozioko, while expressing his gratitude to God and to the youth, thanked them for finding him worthy of the award.

He encouraged the youth to show their support to the governor and always pray for him to succeed in the administration.

Ozioko further advised the youth to live as true ‘Umu-Enugu’ wherever they found themselves.
