Disney+ series star, Kim Mi-soo dies aged 29

Korean actress who starred in Disney Plus series Snowdrop, Kim Mi-soo, is dead.

She died at the age of 29.

In a statement released by her agency Landscape, it stated that her loved ones are ‘deep in their sorrow’ by their ‘sudden’ loss.

‘Kim suddenly left us on Jan. 5,’ the statement said on Wednesday January 5.

‘The bereaved are deep in their sorrow at the sudden sadness.

‘Please refrain from reporting false rumors or speculation so that the family can mourn in peace.’

The statement, obtained by Variety, was translated by Joongang Daily, with no cause of death given.

Kim’s death coincided with JTBC’s romance drama, Snowdrop, in which Kim portrayed a supporting character.

Prior to Kim’s death, seven out of 16 episodes had been broadcasted, and the filming had concluded since Snowdrop was a pre-produced series.

Kim Mi-soo was also known for her work in Lipstick Revolution and Kyungmi’s World.

She also appeared in the famous drama Hi Bye, Mama!. Kim recently gained attention for her portrayal of student activist and supporting character Yeo Jung-min in JTBC’s Snowdrop.
