Couple brutalise little girl, leave her with scars, insist she deserves more
A good samaritan, Kelvin Ugochi, has accused a couple of brutalising a young girl left in their care in Nnewi, Anambra State.
In pictures shared on Facebook, the little girl could be seen with several bruises on her body and a swollen eye.
According to Ugochi, when he accosted the couple, they showed no remorse but insisted that the poor girl deserved more beating.
He added that the police in the area were reluctant to take up the case when he lodged a complaint at the police station.
He wrote:
MAN INHUMANITY TO MAN
I met this little girl today at a fuelling station in nnewi with bruises all over her body,scars from torture melted on this girl by the couple she is staying with.
The poor girl with tears in her eyes narrated the ordeal she is passing through in the hands of her guardian as she was scared of going home as more punishment await her,I have to take her home and approach the couple who felt no remorse as they insist that the girl deserved more
