Constitutional Review: Senate goes on one-week suspension
In order to allow senators to participate in the zonal public hearing across the country, the Nigerian Senate has suspended the plenary for one week.
According to The PUNCH, Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, informed that the hearing would commence on 26th and 27th May in 12 centres nationwide.
Lawan noted that the National Assembly has no pre-conceived agenda and it would allow Nigerians to suggest means to move the country forward.
He also urged all Nigerians to ensure that they participate fully in the exercise.
