Cocaine worth $28m found in two apartments in the Netherlands
Dutch investigators found 600 kg of cocaine in two apartments in Rotterdam, Netherlands worth approximately 18 million to 24 million euros (21 million dollars to 28 million dollars), local media reported on Saturday.
Rotterdam is the second-largest city and municipality in the Netherlands.
The investigators had seen men entering the apartments repeatedly, carrying large bags, according to Dutch news agency ANP.
The police followed a car they identified as suspicious and found a third apartment, where they caught a man and a woman counting money, presumably from illegal drug sales.
The officers confiscated some two million euros.
Four suspects were arrested during operations throughout the past week, the police said on Saturday.
The cocaine has since been destroyed, the police said.
