Mrs. Ebere Asogwa the mother of Big Brother Naija housemate, Alex, has released a video pleading with Nigerians to forgive Alex for her crying spree in the house.

She was reacting to photos and video of Alex crying uncontrollably after Leo’s eviction last week Sunday.

Some BBNaija fans had expressed their disgust at her behaviour and concluded that she should be the next housemate to be evicted if Leo’s eviction was so important to her.

An emotionally traumatized Alex had also said she wished she was evicted in place of Leo because she could not cope without him.

Following Netizen’s reaction, Alex’s mum released a video where she asked Nigerians to forgive her and continue supporting her as she is very emotional person.

She said she was glad Alex had gotten her senses back and has returned to the lively, jovial person we saw in the first few weeks of the show.

She also thanked everyone for their support and contributions towards keeping her daughter in the house.

Alex is known to be the life of the party during Saturday’s weekly party with her synchronised moves on the dance floor

She said,

“Good day my people, my name is Mrs. Asogwa Eberechukwu, from Nsukka, Enugu state Nigeria. I am the mother of Alex in Big Brother Naija presently, I raised her and she is my biological child so I can tell a lot about her.

“Alex is such an emotional person when Alex gets angry most times and she does not want to react in the way that will be harsh she will cry it out just like me, she picked it from me.

“Initially, I was angry at the way she was crying in BBNaija but I sat down to ask myself questions…Haaa what is happening and I still gave the answer to the question. She picked it from me because I always do the same even as a mother.

“When I get angry and I don’t want to be harsh on anybody…I just cry it out.

“There is no corner in BBN everywhere… Alex does not have a hiding space there is much camera……. So she gets angry and wants to cry it out.

“As I pray that all of you that are pissed off by the way she is crying in BBN should please forgive her I have forgiven her and she has apologised in a diary session on Monday and I had to forgive her…”
