Atlético Madrid’s Samuel Omorodion dumps Nigeria for Spain

Atlético Madrid forward Samuel Omorodion, currently on loan at Deportivo Alavés, has expressed his unwavering commitment to representing Spain at the international level.
Born in Spain to Nigerian parents, the 19-year-old is eligible to play for both countries.
Despite his dual nationality, Omorodion has firmly stated his preference for Spain, acknowledging the opportunities the country has provided him. “Spain has given me the opportunity and I am very grateful for it. I don’t think about Nigeria. My goal is to debut with the senior side and have my career in Spain,” he declared.
Omorodion has already represented Spain at the U-19 and U-21 levels, showcasing his talent and potential on the international stage.
