Members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria on Tuesday clashed with soldiers and policemen in the Federal Capital Territory.
WuzupNaija had earlier reported that the IMN, also known as Shiites, had a similar clash with security agents on Monday. Three lives were lost in the clash on Monday. The group is protesting against the ongoing detention of its leader Ibrahim El-Zakzaky who has been in prison without trial for almost four years.
On Tuesday, however, Shiite members protested the killing of their colleagues in yesterday’s fracas, setting on fire some vehicles belonging to the security forces.
