The 27-year-old scored both goals during the first half, helping his team secure three points against their Istanbul rivals.
Osimhen’s performance also helped Galatasaray return to the top of the league table.

Bol argued that Osimhen possessed exceptional qualities capable of influencing the outcome of major matches.
“Osimhen is too good for this league. He’s one of those guys who finishes the competition,” he said.
The commentator maintained that few players had demonstrated the same level of influence in Turkish football in recent years.
He praised Osimhen’s ability to perform consistently in important fixtures.
The Nigerian international opened the scoring in the 29th minute before doubling Galatasaray’s lead in the 44th minute.
Fenerbahce reduced the deficit through Irfan Can Kahveci after the break.
However, Galatasaray maintained their advantage until the final whistle.
Osimhen continues impressive scoring form
Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli in September 2024 before completing a permanent transfer in July 2025.
He enjoyed an impressive first campaign in Turkey, scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists in 41 appearances across competitions.
His contributions helped Galatasaray win the Turkish Super Lig and Turkish Cup.
He also finished as the league’s leading scorer with 26 goals.
Osimhen has continued delivering important performances during the current campaign.
The striker scored during Galatasaray’s 4-2 Champions League victory over Lille on October 21 before producing his derby brace against Fenerbahce.
His performances have strengthened his reputation as one of the club’s most important attacking players.
