A relationship dispute involving married gym instructor Dennis Emmanuel and social media personality Folakemi Martins has gone viral after both parties gave conflicting accounts of their alleged affair. This case is now widely discussed as a viral affair dispute.
According to The PUNCH, Emmanuel admitted having a sexual relationship with Martins but accused her of harassment and interfering with his family after he attempted to end their relationship, which has developed into a highly public viral affair dispute.
Emmanuel claimed he informed Martins from the beginning that he was married and only wanted a casual relationship in the course of this viral affair dispute.
However, Martins strongly disputed his account.
“I never agreed to be a side chick and was never aware of any marriage,” she said.

“What happened over the past few weeks has gone beyond a personal disagreement. It is now affecting my reputation, my home, my wife and my family,” Emmanuel said.
He also published screenshots which he claimed showed conversations between them.
However, the authenticity and full context of the messages have not been independently established. As a result, the viral affair dispute remains unresolved.
Martins says she is pursuing legal action
Martins rejected the claim that she knowingly entered a relationship with a married man.
She also said she was gathering evidence and would address the allegations through legal channels.
“I’m currently working on enough proof and doing everything legally,” she said.
Martins added that she would provide more information when legally permitted to do so.
Online users react to controversy
The public dispute has attracted widespread reactions on social media, with several users criticising Emmanuel for admitting to cheating on his wife.
One user questioned why he chose to make the dispute public after engaging in an extramarital relationship that is now widely referred to as a viral affair dispute.
