Popular Nigerian singer Abiola Akinbiyi, better known as Bella Shmurda, has alleged that he was defrauded after paying $4 million for a property in Lagos that he later discovered did not belong to the seller.

The artiste made the claim during an emotional Instagram Live session on Tuesday, where he broke down in tears while appealing to the public for assistance.

According to Bella Shmurda, he was devastated after learning that the property he purchased was allegedly stolen, expressing fears of losing the millions of dollars he had worked hard to earn.

“Nigeria, I need your help. I’m not doing okay right now. I spent $4 million of my own hard-earned money, only to find out I bought stolen property,” he said.

The singer further alleged that the individual who sold him the property disappeared after receiving the payment.

“And now the seller has disappeared. Please, help me. Someone step in. I’ve got nothing left,” he said.

“I worked for years for this. I can’t lose $4 million like that.”

Bella Shmurda, however, disclosed that he had contacted his lawyer to look into the matter.

“I just contacted my lawyer for further investigation,” he said.

The singer did not reveal the identity of the alleged seller or provide additional details about the property during the livestream.

The claims have not been independently verified, and no official response has been issued by law enforcement authorities or any other party linked to the alleged transaction.
