VIDEO: Moment stage collapsed during Odumodublvck’s performance at Lagos concert

Panic erupted on Saturday at SoL Beach in Elegushi, Lagos State, when the stage collapsed during a performance by Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck whose real name is Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu.

The incident occurred during the Nativeland concert, which featured performances from several artists, including Bloody Civilian, Ayanfe, DJ Tunez, Zerrydl, and ThisizLondon.

The stage reportedly gave way while Odumodublvck and his crew were performing.

Videos shared on social media captured the shocking moment when the structure collapsed, prompting performers, crew members, and the audience to scramble for safety.

One attendee posted, “The moment the stage collapsed at Nativeland during Odumodublvck’s performance. I hope everyone is safe.”

The extent of injuries remains unclear, but fans and attendees have taken to social media to pray for the safety of Odumodublvck and others involved.

A Twitter user commented, “Stage collapses during Odumodublvck’s performance. Reports suggest this was predicted due to unsettling weights.”

Despite the chaos, attendees expressed gratitude that the situation did not result in a major tragedy.

The Nativeland concert, which is known for showcasing diverse musical talents, also had a surprise appearance by Wizkid. However, the mishap overshadowed the event, leaving attendees in shock.

Odumodublvck, famous for his electrifying stage presence and unique blend of musical styles, is a member of the Anti-World Gangstars collective. He recently featured alongside Chike on Davido’s hit single, “Funds.”

As of now, the event organizers, Nativeland, have not released an official statement addressing the stage collapse. Attendees and fans continue to await clarification on what caused the structural failure.
