JAMB Announces registration dates, fee increment for 2024 UTME/DE
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has officially released the registration dates for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry.
Aspiring candidates can commence the process by creating their profiles on the JAMB website, with the sale of application documents scheduled to commence on Monday, January 15th, 2024.
Prospective candidates have a window of six weeks to complete their registration, with the deadline set for Monday, February 26, 2024.
JAMB highlighted that the registration fee for the 2024 UTME varies depending on whether candidates opt for the optional mock exam.
Those choosing to participate in the mock exam will pay N7,700, while those opting out will pay N6,200. Foreign candidates can obtain application documents for $30.
For candidates seeking admission through Direct Entry, the registration process begins on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, and concludes on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
To aid preparation, the 2024 UTME mock examination is scheduled for Thursday, March 7, 2024.
This provides an opportunity for students to assess their readiness and identify areas for improvement ahead of the actual exam. Candidates can start printing their examination slips from Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
The main UTME will span ten days, starting from Friday, April 19th, 2024, and concluding on Monday, April 29th, 2024.
JAMB encourages candidates to visit their website at http://jamb.gov.ng, check their social media handles, or visit any JAMB office for more information and inquiries.
