Black Sunday: Worshippers killed as gunmen invade Ondo church
Many worshippers have been feared killed on Sunday as unknown gunmen attacked the St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State capital.
Punch Metro reports that Owo is the hometown of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
According to sources, the bloody attack also left several people injured.
An eyewitness Kehinde Ogunkorode, said residents were forced to flee for safety after the invasion.
