Singer, Waje, loses father
Nigerian Singer, Aituaje Iruobe aka Waje, has lost her father.
Sharing the sad news on her Instagram page Monday night, Waje said, “A girl needs a father A girl needs her father.
“This girl will always love her father. This girl will dearly miss her father. Rest well, daddy. You will always be in our hearts!”
Waje is a Nigerian singer whose vocal range covers three octaves.
She first gained recognition after she featured on the remake of P-Square’s “Omoge Mi.”
Waje was also featured on the duo’s 2008 hit track “Do Me.”
She is also a two-time judge on the music show ‘The Voice’.
