Less than 24 hours after he registered his presence, Yousef, one of the 11 housemates in Big Brother Naija Season 6 has set tongues wagging on social media with his controversial statement.
Tall, lanky and cute looking, the 29-year-old secondary school teacher who describes himself as “soft-spoken, fun-loving, down to earth go-getter” has left no one in doubt about his mission in the house.
He, however, made it clear that he is not a paedophile and should not be regarded as one.
Yousef courted the controversy when he exchanged banter with the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, right from the moment he was ushered into the house.
After announcing that he is an educationist, a witty Ebuka nudged him and asked if his students would be watching him on the reality show.
“All my students have a crush on me. Thank God I’m not a paedophile,” Yousef replied coyly.
However, his sarcastic remark drew a gasp from the audience and further generated a lot of controversy on social media with many raising suspicion about his motive in the house.
