Growing up and, even as an adult, I have seen and heard tales of domestic violence which at every instance involves a man and a woman.
Wikipedia defines domestic violence as violence or other abuse in a domestic setting, such as in marriage or cohabitation.
Well, nothing prepares me for this new story which we at WuzupNigeria will be bringing to you today.
Let it not be said that after all the ‘men are scum’ talk even women have joined in on the scum as a Twitter user has taken to the platform to intimate users on how her lover, they are lesbians, beat her to stupor.
The complainant, identified only as Storm by her handle, shared photos of the aftermath of the beating, explaining it wasn’t the first time her partner will be hitting her.
Storm failed to name her lover turned abuser.
According to Storm, she housed her abuser lover and has been taking care of her since they met but that did not stop her from beating her to stupor.
Storm who goes by the handle @Theylovestorm_ in narrating her ordeal in a thread wrote:
“Domestic violence is real. Especially in same sex relationship. And it isn’t addressed enough. Last night I experienced something no woman should ever have to experience. My face and neck are bruised cut and I was beaten. I am still in shock.
“If anything is to happen to me. I would also like to add I am being stalked and or harassed via text messages.
“This is not the first incident. She has beaten me before on April 13/14. She has a pattern of violence & has done this to several previous partners. She lived in my house & I took care of her since I met her. Done writing about this…”
