Nollywood actress Beverly Osu has come under fire over her birthday photos after she posed with a rosary while wearing an open blazer that showed off her cleavage.
The former Big Brother Naija star, who turned a year older on Sunday, September 27, 2026, shared the photos on her social media page with a lengthy caption thanking God and reflecting on her journey over the past year.
In her caption, she wrote: “God is still writing. His grace, His love is sufficient. This year, He gave me much to celebrate. Beautiful work, beautiful moments, and a few numbers at the box office that I’m deeply grateful for. But above all, I’m grateful for the woman I’m becoming. I’ve learned that sometimes the greatest miracles don’t arrive with thunder. Sometimes they look like quiet strength, soft prayers, and the grace to keep walking. I carry my faith with me, not as a symbol of having it all figured out, but as a reminder that I’m never walking alone. May God bless this chapter, guide my heart, keep me grounded, and give me the strength to become everything I’m meant to be. However, her posing with the rosary while wearing an outfit that revealed her cleavage did not sit well with many of her followers, who took to the comment section to express their displeasure.
One user, j_jada15, wrote, “Nobody should disrespect my Catholic faith and disrespect my holy rosary or disrespect my religion. Christianity shall never be mocked; keep the Sabbath day holy.”
User bennycharles_apparel also weighed in, stating, “First she wore a dress like a nun, holding a chaplet and smoking years ago.”
