PHOTOS: Sanwo-Olu introduces body cam for enforcement officers
Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has revealed that law enforcement officers in the state would be equipped with body cameras in the course of discharging their duties.
Sanwo-Olu made this known on Tuesday at the Lagos House in Alausa, Ikeja.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu noted that the officers would receive training at the Law Enforcement Training Institute.
“Governor of Lagos State, Mr @jidesanwoolu today rolls out the plan to train Lagos State Law Enforcement Agents on the use of Body Worn Cameras under the Lagos State Law Enforcement Training Institute (LETI),” Akosile wrote on Twitter.
Also present at the event was the Head, Law Enforcement Training Institute, Prince Ifalade Oyekan, and other officers of the state’s law enforcement outfits.
