Weather stops Sanwo-Olu, Fayemi, others from attending Tinubu’s Colloquium in Kano

Some South-West governors were unable to attend the birthday celebration of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress,  Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, owing to bad weather conditions in Kano.

The 12th Bola Tinubu Colloquium was held virtually in Kano State on Monday.

Lagos State Governor,  Babjide Sanwo-Olu, revealed on his verified Twitter handle that he couldn’t be at the event due to bad weather. He expalined that the bad weather also left governors Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State; Dapo Abiodun (Ogun) and Gboyega Oyetola (Osun) stuck at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja.

He added that they had to join the event virtually at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja.

“Due to poor weather conditions, we could not make it to Kano State to join other Nigerians at the 12th Bola Tinubu Colloquium today.

“Alongside Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State.

“Also present at the airport were, “Senators Kashim Shettima, Solomon Olamilekan, Tokunbo Abiru and Opeyemi Bamidele

“We joined the session virtually from the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja,” he added.
