Lookman on target as Fulham beat Leicester at King Power Stadium
Nigerian-British star, Ademola Lookman was on target as Leicester suffer shocking 2-1 home defeat by Fulham on Monday night.
The Foxes unexpectedly fell behind by two goals in the space of eight minuted in the first half and failed to recover from the shock.
Brendan Rodgers’s men missed a chance to draw the first blood in the 20th minute when Maddison’s free-kick hit the wall into the path of Tielemans who volleyed a left-footed shot against the far post. Fofana’s reacted but was denied by the woodwork.
Former Everton star, Lookman, however, scored the first goal for the visitors in the 30th minute after picking up a pass from Zambo Anguissa before curling the ball into bottom-right corner.
The ref was forced to check the VAR monitor after Christian Fuchs brought down Bobby Reid in Leicester’s penalty box, giving the away side the advantage to go ahead by two goals.
Harvey Barnes pulled one back for the home side in the 86th minute after a floated cross from Tielemans found Jamie Vardy who then nods the ball down to Barnes, who rifles home a close-range half-volley.
