JUST IN: Chelsea’s Kai Havertz tests positive for COVID-19
Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard has confirmed that midfielder Kai Havertz has tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday.
Havertz’s positive test result came ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League match against Rennes on Wednesday evening.
The club has confirmed that the German playmaker has gone into self-isolation following the discovery.
It is unknown if he had contact with any player of staff of the club before the confirmation.
