PHOTOS: Police fire teargas at #EndSARS protesters in Abuja
#EndSARS protesters in Abuja, the nation’s capital have been dispersed with teargas by officers of the Nigeria Police Force on Monday.
Channels TV revealed that protesters who gathered at Power House in Asokoro were scattered by police officers who fired tear gas towards them.
Further reports revealed that protesters were cut off at the John Kennedy Street while marching towards the back gate of the Presidential villa.
Strategic spots in the city such as the Mararaba/Nyanya road linking Nasarawa State to Abuja and the front of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) headquarters have been blocked by soldiers and Armoured Personnel Carrier and water cannons respectively.
