Nigerian Rapper, Eva Alordiah has critically questioned why Nigerian men offer women money to start a conversation with them.

She questioned the reason why they exhibit this behaviour and how we got here.

Taking to her Twitter account, Eva wondered who is to blame exactly. Could it be the way ladies have presented themselves or are the problem with the men?

Her tweet reads,

“How Nigerian men say Hi to women — “Do you need money? but why? How did we get here? Who is to blame for this behavior?”

This is coming after a Nigerian lady took to the micro-blogging platform to reveal that a man sent her 50,000 Naira just because she responded to his chat.

“Well, I love being a woman,” the user, @_Matriach wrote alongside screenshots of her chat with the said man and the bank alert of 50,000 Naira she received from him.

This event has sparked mixed reactions online, with men claiming that Nigerian women are materialistic and always expecting or asking for money.
