Comedian Gbenga Adeyinka floats new business in honour of late mum
Ace comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka has announced a new company founded in honour of his late mother, Adunni Adeyinka.
The comedian is among many in the entertainment industry who have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
He said in an Instagram post on Tuesday that the bakery arm of the company would be opened on August 9.
“As you well know, Covid-19 has adversely affected an Industry where I am an active player.
In the desire to open new vistas, I am embarking on a new entrepreneurial journey. In honour of my mum who I lost 10 years ago, I have registered a company to immortalise her called *Adunni Adeyinka Foods.*
We are into Farming, Bakery/Confectionary and Bottled Water Production.
We will be opening the Bakery arm of the business on Sunday, August 9th at 12 noon and I will be delighted if you kindly have me in your prayers and follow @1st.bakery” the 52-year-old wrote.

Gbenga hails from Abeokuta in Ogun State and usually refers to himself as CFR (Comedian of the Federal Republic) and now GCON (Grand Comedian of Nigeria).
Gbenga, who is also and actor and radio and TV presenter, holds an annual comedy show in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, called Laff Mattazz.
