Photos: Truck set on fire after crushing seven to death
A mob protesting an accident around the Old Tollgate area of the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, Ogun State, set a truck involved in the accident ablaze on Saturday afternoon.
The truck’s driver was suspected to have caused the accident that claimed about seven lives.
It was gathered that the crash involved a total of 17 people consisting of six male adults, two male children, eight female adults, and a female child.
The driver of the cement-laden truck was speeding when its brakes failed and it crashed into a Danfo and a white-coloured Sienna.
