Juventus prepare five for exits as Pogba reportedly agrees Old Lady’s return
Manchester United star Paul Pogba has reportedly agreed to a return to Juventus – a move that could see five players heading for an exit in Turn.
Corriere dello Sport has reported that the midfielder has agreed to a Juve return, but the Italians need to raise cash to complete the deal.
Mario Mandzukic, Douglas Costa, Joao Cancelo, Juan Cuadrado and Mattia Perin are among the players who are up for sale.
The European heavyweights hope those sales can raise €110million, which would go a long way to funding the return of World Cup winner Pogba.
Pogba moved to United from Juve in the summer of 2016 for a then world record fee. While he has done well at Old Trafford, Pogba has failed to recapture his Juventus form at United over the last three seasons.
Today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport states that Juve sporting director was present at the game that saw France lose 2-0 to Turkey and after the game, he had a meeting with Paul Pogba.
In that meeting, the Italian acquired Pogba’s agreement over a move to the bianconeri in the summer. He wants to leave Man Utd and go back to Turin, but it is United who are causing problems with their fee demands.
The Old Lady may not offer straight-up cash in a possible deal.
