Davido calls for ‘drastic action’ before dollar hits N1k
Nigerian singer-songrwriter, David Adeleke, porpularly called Davido, has urged the NIgerian Government to take drastic action on the devaluation of the Nigerian currency.
The ‘Stand Strong’ singer, in a tweet in Tuesady, state that something needs to be done urgently to reverse the upward movement of dollars to naira.
“Dollar heading to 1k. Drastic action is needed,” Davido tweeted to his 11.4million followers.
Davido’s comment comes after banks in the country on Monday lamented scarcity of forex and warned their customers of some delays in accessing it.
