Diddy’s associate arrested on drug charges

Brendan Paul, described in a recent lawsuit as an alleged “mule” for American rapper and business mogul, Diddy, found himself in handcuffs on Monday as federal law enforcement agents intercepted Diddy’s plane at Opa Locka Airport in Miami.

According to TMZ, the 25-year-old Brendan Paul faced two separate drug charges, both felonies in Florida, after federal agents purportedly discovered suspected cocaine and marijuana candy in his travel bags. The authorities claimed that the substances were tested and confirmed to be legitimate, leading to Paul’s arrest. Although he was booked into jail, he has since been released on bail.

Paul’s name surfaced in Rodney Jones’ lawsuit against Diddy, where he was depicted as a close associate of the music mogul and allegedly involved in handling Diddy’s drugs and guns. Despite photos of Paul with Diddy being included in the lawsuit, there is no current evidence linking the seized drugs to Diddy.

The arrest occurred amidst federal raids on Diddy’s properties in Miami and Los Angeles as part of a sex trafficking investigation, though it remains unclear if Paul’s arrest is directly linked to these proceedings.

Diddy has vehemently denied all allegations made against him, including those outlined in Jones’ lawsuit, asserting his innocence in the face of mounting legal challenges.
