He cited logistical challenges resulting in the late arrival of materials and personnel as the reason the exercise did not take place in Okitipupa local government as planned.

The governor expressed satisfaction with the primary election process, commending stakeholders and party members for their participation and orderly conduct.

However, concerns have been raised by some aspirants and their agents regarding the conduct of the primary election. Olugbenga Edema, one of the aspirants, highlighted delays in material distribution and called for an investigation into the process to ensure credibility.

Similarly, Rotimi Williams, the agent for another aspirant, Olushola Oke, expressed concerns about the distribution of materials and questioned the transparency of the process.

In a statement released by the Olusola Oke Campaign Organisation, the exercise was labeled a “sham.”

Shola Ajisafe, the agent of Adewale Akinterinwa, echoed the concerns, accusing Governor Ododo of bias and calling for a fair and democratic process.
