ASP Abdulmuhyi Bagel Garba, the younger brother to Bauchi State Commissioner of Power, Science and Technology, Hon. Maryam Garba Bagel, is mourning his fiancée, who died one month to their wedding.

According to reports, his fiancee, 300 level student of the Bauchi State University, Gadau, identified as Hauwa Abdullahi Shehu, has died in a fatal motor accident one month to her wedding.

The student of the Department of Human Physiology, Faculty of Basic medical sciences, died in the crash which occurred on her way back to school in Gadau on Sunday December 2.

Abdul, who is an officer of the Nigerian Police Force, and Hauwa were set to wed in Azare, Bauchi state on Saturday, February 5th, 2022.

However, ASP Abdulmuhyi, on his instagram page on Monday, described his late fiancée as the best soul.

“This was meant to be posted and celebrated against 5th February 2022 which mark as the date of our union of forever but instead, the will of Allah made it otherwise. Indeed you’ve been the best soul ever. May Allah reunite us in Jannatul firdausi. #Good night my love” he wrote.
