Nigerian Afropop singer and songwriter, Yemi Alade, has slammed a tweep identified as Daniel Regha who advised her to collaborate with other female artistes.

In a tweet on Sunday, Regha had taken time out to school Yemi Alade on the need to colloborate with other female musicians, especially Tiwa Savage.

According to him, the industry is male dominated and barely gives room for females to thrive.

“Yemi Alade u should try collaborating with other female artistes this year, especially with Tiwa Savage; The music industry is male dominated & barely gives room for females to thrive which is more reason why u ladies should stick together as one, it will boost ur music careers

Responding to his tweet, the ‘Oh My Gosh’ singer begged him to let her be as the new year just started and she is no way ready for too much work.

“Oshey ! lucozade boost . Path finder! Career coach! Feminist! Torch bearer of female musicians ! Counsellor! Oya rest ! 2022 just started! Don’t give me work!,” she said.

Reacting to her reponse, @@IamOhmai said; “He’s spitting facts though. Rihanna, Beyonce, Nicki, Cardi B, Ciara….these are the big names in Europe and they all still feature each other. I don’t know why we don’t have more of that here in Nigeria.
